For anyone; no experience necessary; AND offered at a level useful for professional bodyworkers; technique adaptable to both table and floor work.
Way down there at the bottom of your body, your feet absorb the shock of every step you take, totally at your mercy as you make your way down the path of life. Your feet deserve the very best of attention!
This class offers “treat”-ments you’ll enjoy for yourself as well as to give to others.
In this workshop, you’ll experience or learn:
- A meditation to connect with your feet and all that they’re about
- Warm-up stretches for the feet
- Foot techniques, with paired practice
- Question/answer time for clarification

Let’s Do Feet II: Focus on the Tsubos ($60; 3 CE Hours; Category: Bodywork-Asian
Studies). Unless otherwise specified, classes will be held at The Human Relations Center, 970C Mill Pond Rd N., Valparaiso, In 46385
Prerequisite: “Let’s Do Feet I”
Building on “Let’s Do Feet I”, this class becomes more specific. Based on Five-Element theory and specific meridians and tsubos, you’ll learn where and how to work the feet for a client’s person needs.
In this workshop you’ll experience or learn:
- An appropriate, useful meditation
- Warm-up stretches designed to open the meridians in the feet
- Locations of the meridians and tsubos in the feet and ankles
- Foot techniques geared toward tonifying or sedating tsubos for specific reasons
- Question/answer time for clarification
Detailed handouts re location and uses of the tsubos in the feet will be provided.
